In order to help make things easier for you (and to free you from sticky note tyranny), Constant Contact has decided to do some of the remembering for you. What sort of things do we keep track of for you?
Links, Links, Everywhere!
Sometimes it’s a bit of a pain to type in the same link over and over again. Especially if it happens to be a longer link that no sane person could remember off the top of their heads. That’s why we’ve created a drop-down list for you when you insert your links. We’ll remember the last 100 link URLs you used and let you scroll through to grab what you need.
Colors You Don’t Need to Check
It’s amazing how much light blue can look like teal blue when you’re eying it in a color chart. Or, for that matter, how hard it is to remember whether you changed the background in your article block to Hex Value #007DA1 or #006582 without having to double check the numbers.
With our expanded color picker, however, we remember the last 10 colors you used in your emails. That way, you can alter your blocks, spruce up an old copied email, and coordinate quicker and easier.

Text Changes as Easy as Dropping-Down
When you set your font choices in your Global Colors and Fonts, you’ve not only changed those areas of your text, you’ve also given yourself a quick short cut to use those settings in other places as well. Those settings are stored for you in a convenient drop down-box that displays and remembers that information.
So any time you want your coupon to use the same font and style as your Article 1 Title, all you need to do is highlight your text and choose that option from your list.

Preferences We Keep in Mind
And, last but not least, there are the various preferences about your account that we make sure to remember.
- How you like to search for contacts: Do you like searching by email address or last name? We’ll remember how you last looked for a subscriber and show it to you for next time.

- Which way you sorted your lists: Lists can be sorted by the number of contacts in it, alphabetically by name, or by order. Once you sort it the way you like, we keep it that way for you until you sort it again.

- Display choices for images: You’ve got choices for how you can view your images when inserting one into your email. Whether you prefer a list format, a grid, or thumbnails, we’ve got you covered. And what’s more, we remember for next time.
